Easter, Easter, Easter ...

On Saturday we had 2 Easter Egg Hunts ...

Yep, DOSE ... DOUBLE ... TWO!!!!

It was LOADS of fun to go from ONE to the OTHER!!!

We started the Madsen Easter Egg Party dying Easter Eggs ...These 2 wanted to do Egg after Egg ... They LOVED it!

{We will be doing more dying tonite!}We ate a lil' "snack" & then got ready to go HUNT for eggs!It was so FUN to watch my kids search for a basket full of EGGS!Here's the end result:Happy KIDS, LOTS of Eggs, Lots of candy & LOTS of fun random gizmos & gadgets!!!

Then we opened eggs, chatted, played, enjoyed the sunshine, & the adults looked for their ONE hidden EGG ... Let me just go on record of saying "I WAS NOT THE LAST ONE TO FIND MY EGG THIS YEAR!!!

{i think this is the START of a new trend for me ... I HOPE!}Then is was time for the FERGUSON EASTER EGG HUNT ...

My kids were welcomed by ALL ---We ATE Yummy, Divine, Delicious, Scrumptious, Mmmmm Good Crepes!

Oh boy, I ATE myself HAPPY!!!

They were SOOOO GOOD!

{Too bad I didn't get any pics cause I was cooking away my hashbrowns & EATING!!!}

The Men then hide all the EGGS

& then the kids were sent out to search for their DOZEN ...Grandpa & Grandma also gave the kids SUNGLASSES & SWIMMING NOODLES!

The NOODLES & GLASSES were a HUGE hit for ALL the kids!

Zachary's noodle was mistankenly taken home by another cousin ...

we stopped by on our way home & got it back.

Emma's noodle was fought over by her & another cousin because they both thought it was hers ... it was solved by a SNEAKY process!!! {aka showing the cousin their noodle & then Grandpa mixing them up & handing them back out}

All-in-all at least they will be well LOVED!!!!

{My kids didn't leave me ALONE until I let them use their noodles at the bubble pool this week!!! Post Coming Soon!!}

All the Easter Egg Hunting was a BLAST!!!

This Little Boy ...

Is GROWING up TOO fast!!!

can you even believe he is already 16months!!!!

I know I can't!!!!

I haven't posted about what he's been up to in a while, so HERE WE GO ...

-For some reason when he THROWS A FIT, he BANGS his head ... HARD ... on something repeatedly until you pick him up.

{ie: tile floors, kitchen cabinets, chairs, dressers, YOU, concrete, you name it, he's done it!}

What a STINKER!!!

-Other than that small note of FIT throwing, he really is a WONDERFUL baby!!!

{maybe not a baby to EVERYONE else, but I'm gonna hold onto that name as long as possible!}-He is a little CHARMER!

He gives people a big grin & then immediately will SHY away from them into my shoulder.

I love it!

-He's such a MOMMY'S BOY!

{both my boys are ... which sometimes ends in COMPLETE & UTTER jealousy!} -Just within the last couple of weeks he has become a much better EATER!

Not saying he didn't eat good before, but now he eats A LOT more than he use to!!!!

Thank Goodness, cause he is on the smaller side of LIFE!

-He is a MAJOR thumb sucker!!!

For right now, I LOVE THIS trait about him! It's DARLING to have him bury himself in your shoulder, while sucking his thumb! I also love to listen to him moan/groan while he's sucking his thumb falling asleep ... CHARMING! -Since he still is SOOOO small ... doesn't register on ANY charts ... I haven't weened him off of the bottle. Right now, I have no intentions to do so. The Doc says he need as many calories as he can get & his milk supply is a good source of CALORIES.

-He LOVES to be outside!

These last couple of days with WONDERFUL spring weather, he just stands at the back sliding door until I let him out ... much like a doggy would, althoug I'm NOT comparing my son to a dog ... ok maybe I am, but he's a CUTE one!!!

-He just loves to TODDLE after his siblings & is DELIGHTED when they notice him & interact wtih him, but if they don't he doesn't seem to mind!

We are so lucky to have KYE GUY in our family!

I just love him to bits ... just like my other 2!!!! :)

Girls Day 101

To have a SUCCESSFUL Girl's Day you will need:

1. Fun Gals to HANG-OUT with ...CHECK!!!

2. A Yumm-o place to eat ---{don't ask me why??? this is sideways ... it won't load right!!! BUT it was a DIVINE little joint to enjoy!!!}

CHECK!!!

3. Desserts to DIE over ...{2 for me!!!}

CHECK!!!!

4. Some time for CRAFTING & CREATING ---{Thanks Michelle for the BEAUTIFUL craft momento!}CHECK!!!

5. & lots of time for SHOPPING & GIGGLING our guts out ...CHECK!!!

Once again, we'll deeme this GIRLS DAY a true SUCCESS!!!!

Spring Break --- Part 2

I tried to do fun things with my kiddo's, but since the weather was not the best, we had to opt for things that were INDOORS. We headed to The Book of Mormon Children's Museum downtown one morning & had a JOLLY GOOD TIME!We got to fish off of Nephi's boat...

{We are actually reading about this in the scriptures, so it was fun for my kids to relate to it.}We got to play fun church games on the computers.

{this was Zachary's favorite spot to be!}We got to color on golden tablets.

{Kye's favorite spot!}& make delicious food for the Missionaries to eat ...We rode on the Missionary bikes ...& got to DANCE our hearts out!

{Emma did spend A LOT of time dancing & didn't want to take off the skirt, but suprisingly this wasn't her favorite spot.}{This next place was Emma's favorite spot ...}

Playing paperdolls & acting out "churchey" scenerios was a BIG hit!I loved this little museum & so did all my kids!

It was the perfect size cause no matter what my kids wanted to do I could keep on eye on them cause it wasn't a HUMUGOUS place!

We will definently have to go back soon!!!

Spring Break ---

Before we talk about Spring Break, let's talk about what's NEW ...

... like BRAND, SPANKIN' NEW!!

I have NEVER, EVER, EVER had a NEW, BIG kitchen appliance!!

Last Saturday it was time to say GOODBYE to our old dishwasher who had seen MUCH better days!!! He was just not cutting it ANYMORE!

We'd have to scrub the dishes BEFORE putting the in & AFTER taking them out!!!

ANNOYING!

So, SEE YA LATER!!!

Hello, my NEW DISHWASHER who cleans like a DREAM COME TRUE!!!

I will keep you FOREVER ... {as long as you keep cleaning!!!}Now, onto SPRING BREAK!

The weather has been CRUMBY,

so we have done many COOKING escapades together.

Cooking with kids = COOKING TREATS!!!

{at least that's the rule at our house}

MMMMmmmmm!!!!

So, while I melted the chocolate:

They crushed the graham crackers:& we put it ALL together & get this lovely dessert:Yummmmmm ... it WAS good! Yes, It's gone & I have NO GUILT!!! I think the reason these 2 like "cooking" with me is so they can lick out the aftermath ...Yes, I definently think that why HE does it!!!!!This was my BIGGEST helper of all!!! He sat in his high chair eating lunch, & then got down & played his heart out!

I think he secretly LOVED that his brother & sister were pre-occupied so he could get all the toys that he wanted & didn't have to fight anyone over them.

{At our house there are some pretty ridiculous toys that my kids fight over!!!!}

Yeah, for treats & YEAH for having kids to cook with!!!

Although, sometimes it's a PAIN to have them grabbing for everything, I hope they have {SWEET} memories of cooking with me!

I have MANY memories of sitting on the counter cooking with my Mommy!!!!
