Santa CAME…

We had a Very Merry Christmas!!!

We got to sleep in until 8:00am…. awhhh, I LOVE having sleepers!  I really wondered IF this would be “the early” year that I ALWAYS experienced as a lil kid, but NOPE…. Kye was the first one awake at 7:45, & all he wanted was Grandma! :)

Once all 3 kids were awake we checked to see IF Santa came…. I GUESS Eddy reported to Santa that our kids were GOOD cause they got JUST what they wanted!!

Then we MADE them eat Breakfast… it was delicious & I was STARVING!  It was Breakfast Casserole, Oven French Toast, Yogurt, bananas, strawberries, granola, orange juice, & homemade syrup.  Mmmmm…

Then it was time to see what Santa had brought them….

….I loved Emma’s reaction to her presents.  It was so genuine & she LOVED everything she got.  My kids were such fun ages this year!!!

It was fun to have Grandma, Grandpa, & Uncle Davey around to make our “OPENING” last a lil bit longer.  It was fun to have their excitement added to the mix & it was fun to share it with them!!!

Shortly after we were done opening they packed up & left to go visiting my other siblings who live within driving distance.

We PLAYED & PLAYED!  It was fun to be a KID & totally lounge around & enjoy the day.  We finally decided to have a late lunch & then head to Grammy & Grandpa’s for a short visit.

We played games, snacked on all the JUNK-Y goodness Christmas brings about, & enjoyed one another.IMG_2126 IMG_2129

Then it was back home where we snapped a family photo……IMG_2132 IMG_2138

It was such a FABULOUS holiday season!!  We were so blessed this past year & it was fun to teach our children with FHE about the “true meaning” all December long.  Our kids were all EXSTATIC about the actual day, which made it Oh, so much FUN!

I loved the Christmas season so much I was sad to see it end.  My new year’s resolution is to carry the special spirit of giving & Christ throughout the REST of the year.  I’m excited to tackle this as my resolution & hope it’ll make our home/family to ALWAYS have that feeling of goodness & giving!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

May you start your year of giving by GIVING your sister a $100 shopping spree. Oh, Amber, you shouldn't have!
