We arrived home from Washington the Friday before Easter. On Saturday both sides of the family held Easter parties, full of MANY fun activities!! We went to the Fergy’s Easter Party first where we had a YUMMY brunch, an Easter Egg hunt, & announced we were expecting our 4th child. (We had to point out the announcement at the bottom of the dish we brought, but that’s ok!!) It was so fun to see family & enjoy the good company!
Then it was off to the Madsen’s Easter Party. We dyed Easter Eggs, played some Egg games, looked for our hidden egg…. NO I WAS NOT THE LAST PERSON TO FIND MY EGG THIS YEAR….I usually am!!…. & we had a scavenger hunt for the kids. It was a fun time had by all!
On Sunday we did our own Easter Egg Hunt the Easter Bunny left us, enjoyed a wonderful Sunday Meeting, made a yummy Easter dinner together, & enjoyed our day of rest. We were all pretty exhausted, but we still had such a wonderful time together!!!
I am so grateful for a loving Savior who suffered & died for me & then was resurrected. I know that there is a life after this one & am so grateful I will someday be reunited with those loved ones who have passed away already. What a wonderful holiday to celebrate life! We are so excited to be able to celebrate this time knowing that in a few short month we will welcome another life to our family. It is truly a miracle & such a blessing to be able to raise children on this earth!!!
