Tools + Daddy = Emma

In a DEEP, DARK, HOLE under our house Emma loves to Play!Daddy has been building Mommy some shelves. When the TOOLS come out, Emma is always willing to "HELP-OUT!"
Emma loves to get her tools out and help Daddy with all of his home Improvement Projects. It's so cute to watch them side by side getting the job done. These handy-dandy shelves will be used for all our food storage and bottles goods!
Thanks for HELPIN' DAD OUT EMMA!!!!!!

December Traditions!!

We are having a fun December! We put up our tree the day after Thanksgiving. Emma loved helping put ALL the ornaments on and then spent the next week rearranging them. Zachary was asleep through the decorating, but I managed to pull off a cute picture the next morning. Emma has loved opening her special door EVERY day to find her chocolate treat. (Next year she's going to be devastated when she has to SHARE! This is just the beginning of FUN FILLED DECEMBER, so there will be more posts yet to come!

Drinking "Holiday Milk"

"Holiday Milk" has always been a favorite for Alan, but he knows if he wants it, HE HAS TO BUY IT HIMSELF! He has so far converted Emma to the fact that it's good, but NOT his wife!! I can't even stand to watch them drink it. Emma loves it and loves enjoying the drink with her Dad. Let the HOLIDAYS begin!!!

Six Months and Sitting . . . Sort Of

Zachary is such a determined little fellow! He LOVES sitting up and playing with toys, but HATES falling over. He screams and cries like the world has ended when he falls. (This is nothing like how Emma was!) His new thing is he gets stuck with his head hitting the floor totally bent over and not able to sit himself back up. He's a whole lot of FUN! FYI- he's 19.4lbs and 27 1/2 inches long!! Such a solid cuddly boy!!

Zachary's Eating Habits

Zahcary Loves Eating WAFFLES and he'll attack them if he's given them! I love to look at the BIG BLUE BUG EYES!
Sometimes if he's lucky enough his sister will hand him the spoon and food while Mom isn't looking, so he can go at it with his LUNCH TOO!

What's the best is when he catches Emma off guard and grabs her hair. She freaks out and once he lets go she'll turn around and lecture him about NOT pulling hair! (That always causes me to giggle cause she sounds like me lecturing her!) And Here's the Big Cheese of them all! She'll always SMILE for pictures if it's HER IDEA!

The Syracuse Titans

The Syracsue Titan's had an amazing year this year! Last year they lost every game and this year they won all but 1 0r 2 games!! This year was only their second year of exsistence!!They made it to the semi-finals and ended up losing, but they did AWESOME! Two YM from the ward were on the team and major players, so we had a whole ward gathering there to support. It was fun to be in that atmosphere with FUN friends. Alan was really into the game and I was really into the socializing!!! Next year we'll WIN!! (hopefully at least go far!)

GIRLS GONE WILD

I spent this last weekend in St. George with a group of friends. We TALKED, SHOPPED, PLAYED, LAUGHED, and BONDED! I can't believe what a bonding experience this was, and I'm so grateful to my WONDERFUL husband for taking care of the HOME while I was gone! He is remarkable and he is such a awesome DADDY!

The car drive didn't even feel LONG because it was TOO much fun!

Yes, we pampered ourselves and got makeovers at Macy's.

I even acted really immature and rode in the cart at Wal-Mart. . . FYI I guess your not supposed to do this because the cashier lady was upset.

And the best part. . . we bought matching JAMMIES and took pictures for at least an hour!!
Just wait for this Jr. High flashback. . . we brought all the mattereses into the living room to sleep together!! =)

It was such a BLAST I can't wait to do it again with the GALS!! PINK OUT!!

Who is Who?

These are my 2 kids in the same costume 2 years apart. Can you tell who is who?
Hopefully you've really looked and decided for yourself, but here's the ANSWER: Zachary is the bottom picture at 5 Months old. Emma is the top picture at 6 Months old. Funny how the costume looks big on Emma and it fits Zach perfect. Emma wasn't Zach's size until around nine months old!!! :) What cute little Frogs/Toads, if I do say so myself!!!

Happy Halloween

We had a really fun day. We got up early in the morning and went down to see Savannah's School Halloween Parade.

Here we are waiting for the parade to start. Toad with cousin Lily (The Flower Pot), Aunt Charisse, and Mommy. The Princess (Emma) and the Ballerina (Cousin Michaela)

After the Parade we went to Macey's to go Trick or Treating. It may be LAME-O, but the kids LOVE IT! You go to all the departments and they give out candy.

Then it was back home and off to Trick or Treat with Daddy. She walked up and down our whole street and loved every minute of it!

When she got home we went to our neighborhood Halloween Party and it was so fun! They took the kids on a little ride around the block and Emma loved it.

Then Emma went Trick or Treating with some of the friends at the party. I went with her this time and we went up and down the other street. She walked the WHOLE way and enjoyed the goods she was getting.

Part way through trick or treating the 2nd time it started to sprinkle on us and she insisted it was "showering on us."

We hope everyone had a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Pumpkin Carving

We have an on going tradition of carving pumpkins every year. Alan grew up carving pumpkins, so he is the master, but the rest of us are learning and improving each year!Happy little boy with his little pumpkin that is just his size!
Emma loved carving pumpkins. She colored on hers' and then helped Daddy dig out all the other pumpkins. She was so proud of this pumpkin when it was all done. Alan hard at work on his pumkin.Amber hard at work on her pumpkin.

Whose the WINNER? You Decide . . .

Halloween Party

Our Ward Halloween Party was last Friday night and it was a blast! We had dinner and then Trunk or Treating. We all joined the fun and dressed up!

Mommy and Mr. Toad

Daddy with his Little Princess. Emma loved Trunk or Treating once she finally caught onto what was going on!

The best part was the cotton candy!! What a sticky, but FUN mess!
